Former Super Eagles Eagles, Mutiu Adepoju is confident in the ability of new Manchester United signing Odion Ighalo to succeed at Old Trafford despite just joining the club on a six- month loan deal.
The former Real Betis attacker further added that the training camp in Marbella will further help the striker gel with the squad and will offer the entire team a chance to understand the kind of player he is.
“I believe Ighalo will make an immediate impact at Manchester United as the winter break will also afford him enough time to blend with the squad and make the most of it before their next game against Chelsea in the EPL,” Adepoju said.
The former Granada striker has been handed the number 25 jersey, taking over from former captain Antonio Valencia, with a huge task to help United fight in the Europa League and also a chance to make the top 4.
Ole and his team will head to the Spanish City of Marbella on Saturday for a short training camp before a busy end of the month which will see them face Chelsea, Club Brugge, and Watford over the course of five days.
