Adeboye leads RCCG on Prayer Walk against Insurgency
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Sunday led members of the Church on a Prayer Walk, following the rise in Insurgency in the Country. Pa Adeboye led his followers from Ebute Meta through Atan Cemetery road in Yaba metropolis and back.
The walk commiserates the three-day fasting declared by the Christian Association of Nigeria, following the gruesome slaughter of Rev. Lawan Andimi by Boko Haram.
In Abuja, Pastor Tunde Benjamin had also led members of the Throne Room Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, on the Prayer walk around the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, where the church holds its weekly services.
Recall that, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Michika Local Government Area, Rev. Lawan Andimi was abducted by the Boko Haram insurgents on January 3, 2020, and slaughtered in Sambisa forest for his refusal to deny his Faith and the failure of the church to raise the 800 million naira ransom demanded by the terrorists group.
