The meritorious achievements of the Honorable Minister for Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, are earning him more accolades and awards. The latest coming from ThisDay Newspaper.
At an award night held at the Eko Hotels, Lagos, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi was awarded the Minister of the Decade. The award was handed over to the Honourable Minister by the National Chairman of the APC and former Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Adams Oshiomhole.
In November 2015, President Muhammadu Buhari appointed Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi as Minister for Transportation. Amaechi was reappointed Minister for Transportation on August 21, 2019.
From his first appointment, the Minister has recorded numerous transformational achievements. Few of which are the completion and commencement of the Abuja-Kaduna Railway, commencement of Lagos-Ibadan and Itakpe-Warri railway projects and restoring high level security, order and fiscal discipline to the Maritime Sector.
