Real Madrid make opening €160m bid for Mbappe
Real Madrid have made their first official bid for PSG star Kylian Mbappe whose current deal expires at the end of the summer, and the Los Blancos are looking to snatch him up before the closing of the transfer window.
The bid which is reportedly a whopping sum of €160m has however been rejected by the Ligue 1 giants. Apparently, the club expects a higher sum before parting ways with their wonder kid.
Mbappe who won the world cup with France has rejected 6 contract renewals with the French side as he has made his intentions to leave the club clear.
PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, remains confident that the club can keep the 22-year-old even though the player has the option to leave as a free agent at the end of the season.
Mbappe who has been on Real Madrid’s radar for some time now seems to be eager to play for the Spanish giants and he already has some camaraderie with French teammate and Real Madrid forward, karim Benzema.
The Los Blancos are optimistic about getting Mbappe on their side, however, he is not the only striker they have their eyes on as they are also monitoring Erling Haaland closely.
