Rivers uncover 11,000 workers with fake birth certificates
Rivers State Government says it has uncovered eleven thousand civil servants who forged their age in service.
The government said it discovered this in the biometric exercise on civil servants and pensioners ordered by the Nyesom Wike led administration.
The government also said it discovered at least 1,500 civil servants with more than one pay point, meaning that they were stealing from the government by earning double salaries from different ministries.
The Senior Special Assistant to the State Governor on Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Ibifuro Asawo, made this known to newsmen in Port Harcourt on Monday.
