NCF holds 2 days Introductory Coaching clinic at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka
Nnamdi Azikwe University,Awka, Anambra State has geared up to sustain the game of Cricket in the Institution.
The General Manager of Nigeria Cricket Federation , Emeka Igwilo, supported by Mr. Ikem Asika of the Anambra State Cricket Association on the 16th and 17th March 2020 held Introductory to Cricket coaching course for beginners of the game.
This effort is coming on the desire of the Institution to sustain the progress made in the game of Cricket. Apart from visiting University of Nigeria Nsukka for friendly match in 2019, the University team in 2016 participated in the Chuma Anosike cup and won silver medal.
The event was facilitated by the Institution’s new Director of Sports, Mr. Ken Ogbonna and the former Acting Director of sport, Mrs. Anthonia Chukwudi.
About 50 participants took part in the programme that had theory and practical sessions.
