Bandits Murdered Zamfara Lawyer In Bungudu LGA
The Nigerian Bar Association in Gusau, Zamfara State Branch, has confirmed the murder of one of its welfare secretary, Ahmad Muhammad Abubakar, popularly known as “Ahmad Kotorkoshi”,
A statement signed by the Branch Chairman, Barrister Junaidu Abubakar, said the incident occurred when gunmen stormed the lawyer’s residence along Mada Road in Kotorkoshi town in Bungudu Local Government Area of the state, intercepted and attacked his wife from whom they demanded to know her husband’s whereabouts.
She refused to tell them, and they started beating her and on hearing her screaming, Ahmad opened his door and came out.
The invaders attacked him with a machete, inflicted deep cuts on his body, left him dead and fled.
The statement said Ahmad’s funeral prayers will hold on Wednesday at Kotorkoshi town.
