Abia Warriors Mourn Nasarawa United’s Chineme Martins.

Abia Warriors Football Club has described the death of Nasarawa United player Chineme Martins as a very unfortunate one, which occured at a time when the services of the late player was most needed.

In a statement signed by the Club’s Sporting Director Patrick Ngwaogu, Abia Warriors commiserate with Nasarawa United on the demise of Chimene Martins player who slumped and died during one of NPFL20 MD 23 fixture at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.

The Umuahia team prayed that God in his infinite mercies should console the immediate families of the player, Nasarawa United, his friends, NPFL and all football stakeholder on this sad event.

The club went further to remphasis on the need to improve on the medical facilities at match venues.
