Mark Zuckerberg Announces Changes to Whatsapp
- WhatsApp now allows one account yo be logged on top 4 phones
Meta Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mark Zuckerberg on Tuesday, April 25, softened WhatsApp regulations to allow access on multiple devices at once.
In a statement, Zuckerberg noted that WhatsApp users will be allowed to install the application on up to four mobile phones and use them simultaneously.
“Starting today, you can log into the same WhatsApp account on up to four phones,” the CEO announced.
Previously, users were forced to log out of one account on a phone to access the application on a different mobile device.
Alternatively, the Meta Group allowed users to access their Whatsapp on their desktops and laptops through the Whatsapp Web software.
The latest announcement came four days after Zuckerberg released an update of the user interface touching on disappearing messages.
“Anyone in a disappearing message thread can long press on a message to keep it. The sender will be notified if it was saved and can decide if it stays or remains a disappearing message,” he declared.
