Amaechi bags Chieftaincy in Uturu, performs ground breaking at the Gregory University

The Honourable Minister for Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has been conferred with the title of ‘Dike di Oha Mma 1’ of Uturu. Rt. Hon. Amaechi who gave the 2020 matriculation commencement speech at the Gregory University, Uturu, also performed the foundation laying ceremony of the Transport and Logistics Institute of the University.

While expressing satisfaction over the University’s plan for the Nigerian Transport and Logistics sector, Amaechi pledged the support of the Ministry of Transportation, for Transport and Logistics Institute the Gregory University.
“Impressed with the profile and plans of Gregory University for the Transportation and logistics sector in Nigeria, We’ll explore ways to partner with them in the Ministry of Transportation, especially when we start the Bonny-Port Harcourt-Maiduguri rail line,” Amaechi said.
