Bandits kill family of 16 in Kaduna
A family of 15 have reportedly been burnt to death by suspected bandits.
According to a report by Channels, the incident occurred in Bakali village of Fatika district in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna. The bandits reportedly invaded the community by 4pm, shot sporadically before locking up 16 members of the same family in a room and setting them ablaze.
The spokesman for the Kaduna State Police Command, Muhammed Jalige, who confirmed the story said they are yet to ascertain the number of casualties, but added that a Police team have been dispatched to the village.
