President GFN, urges for more unity among sports stakeholders in 2020

The President of Gymnastics Federation of Nigeria (GFN), Prince Kelvin Ehrunmuwse has appreciated it board members for working assiduously to promote various programmes in 2019 and urged them to work more for the betterment of 2020 programmes.
Prince Ehrunmuwse, who disclosed this in a New Year messages in Abuja, commended the federation, board members, minister of sports and youths development Sunday Dare for supporting it programmes in 2019.
According to the president of GFN, 2019 was remarkable year for the federation because the federation organised series of programme before going to All Africa Games in morocco that earned the country medals.
He noted that the federation will build on that remarkable record of 2019 in 2020 to develop young athletes for future competitions.
“As we stepped into 2020, I want all stakeholders to come together for the interest of gymnastic because getting the best for Nigeria is our target, we want to set a huge record, we are going to rollout 2020 programme soon to ensure we set world record in Olympic Tokyo 2020.
“We committed and dedicated in contributing our part to the game of gymnastics in Nigeria. We are stakeholders, 2019 is a year with so many of memories and stories that will help to reshape our expectations in 2020.
“We have to look back to know how far we still have gone to forge ahead for the herculean task because we have many programms this year.
“We won gold medals for the country, you all know how we laboured to win those medals at the 2019 African Games in Morocco, ‘he said.
Ehrunmuwse then called stakeholders at home and in Diaspora to join hands with the federation’s programs in various states and grow the game from the grassroots.
“I welcome all stakeholders to the New Year and commend everybody efforts for gradually supporting the game of gymnastic in Nigeria.
