Four months after Pillars won the Aiteo Cup, the NFF has not released the prize money and there is no information on when the money would be given to the club. “
“2019 Aiteo Cup champions, kano Pillars FC are yet to receive its Twenty five million naira (N25m) price money as at now.
“The club are waiting for the authority concerned to release the prize money.
The statement added that the management of the club is surprised when they got reports from some quarters that the club have collected the money some weeks ago.
“We are expecting the money since and we can recalled last month the organisers of the competition (NFF) through one of its executive told us that plans are under pipeline to send us the money but till now, nothing has been paid.”
