Former adviser to U.S President Trump arrested for fraud
Former adviser to United States Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, has been arrested on charges that he and three others illicitly took money from donors in an online fundraising scheme “We Build The Wall”. Federal prosecutors in the U.S. alleged that Bannon and three others “orchestrated a scheme to defraud hundreds of thousands of donors” in connection with an online crowdfunding campaign that claims to have raised more than $25m to build a wall along the southern border of the United States.
Bannon was a top adviser to US President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign before as White House chief strategist.
