Kanye West ‘quits’ US Presidential race
American Rap singer, Kanye West has reportedly dropped out of the 2020 United States Presidential race, less than a month after announcing that he was making a bid for the White House. This is according to a report in a New York based Magazine, ‘Intelligencer’. The report says a member of Kanye West’s campaign team, Steve Kramer, confirmed that “he’s out” of the 2020 race. Kramer also said: “I’ll let you know what I know once I get all our stuff cancelled.”
Meanwhile, the American rapper has posted a video to Twitter showing him registering to vote in Wyoming. “I want to show you how I just registered to vote,” he says in the video, which is captioned, “I thank God and I am so humbled at the opportunity to serve.”
Kanye West, who is conservative Republican and a vocal supporter of US President Trump, made headlines on July 4 – United States Independence Day- by announcing he was throwing his hat in the ring.
