Nigerian Railway Corporation Partners with ANSL for Rail Transport Security

The Nigerian Railway Corporation has within its capacity injected new innovation into the rail transport system to enable the country’s railway system to operate on an international standard, for the security and benefit of all Nigerians using the rail transport system as their choice of transportation in the country.

And gratefully under the vision and great supervisory leadership, of the Honourable Minister of Transportation, HMOT, we have done again ” what Napoleon could not do we did” a continuous assurance of Mr. President’s commitment to Nigerians.

In an attempt to ensure the use of innovative and technology base gadgets in the rail sector partnered with ASNL to achieve this crucial innovative goal in the sector.

Meanwhile, Mr. Emmanuel Egboh, the Group MD/CEO ASNL, in a statement said: “Today in partnership with Nigeria Railway Cooperation, we have received our first batch state of the art world-class electronic ASNL- EL 100 100 screens display X-Ray Baggage Scanners for the rail stations.

“ASNL EI-100100 is a practical large tunnel design x-ray security equipment that has the rugged capacity for railways, highways, logistics, and other cargo security scanning inspection.

“Very advanced in technology and high mobility which gives it the possibility to be easily moved to any terminal location that needs security inspection through its rolling casters.

“It’s designed and built for large size luggage scanning because of its advanced image-processing platform and strong image transformation functions.

“This scanner is the first design of its kind in Nigeria and we are the first to introduce the machine with passenger signage security checks display LED worldwide.

” We will continue to connect the dots in ensuring security and safety for our dear passengers across the railway stations nationwide “. Egboh added.
