African Americans Will Get Their Freedom-Roseline Ojugbo
It is no doubt that many African-Americans have lost their lives to police brutalities and racial discrimination amongst the whites and blacks in some white-dominated countries in the world. But the recent death of George Floyd has changed that following the massive protest against racism and police brutality.
But recently Mrs. Roseline Ojugbo, the President of the Ika People in Diaspora, Canada, who is also the CEO and Founder of Kids Life Matters Foundation in an interview with the Asphericnews on the 23rd of June, 2020 disclosed that nothing is impossible to achieve following the protests by blacks in America and across the world against racism and police brutality.
During the interview, Ojugbo was asked if blacks can overcome racial discrimination by protest she said: “Yes, of course, if You ask Me, I will say nothing is impossible, first of all, I want us to understand the meaning of discrimination, discrimination is any form of racism against anybody, based on either skin color, your ethnic background, your racial background, your ascent or anything that is associated with you when you are being discriminated against due to that particular thing that is with you, then it is related to racial discrimination or all forms of discrimination.
“So, African-Americans can or will actually overcome the situation, because if I have to relate it to what happened recently, now the Americans are asking for a change or reform in the way the policing system used to be.
“So, they are pushing in, so that the form of discrimination against African-Americans will reduce and hopefully they are going to accept the bill and that will lead to equality between the African-Americans and all other people living in North America. She added.
