COVID-19: Nigeria records more than 1,000 cases
Nigeria has surpassed the 1 000 mark in the number of COVID-19 cases, recording 1, 095 cases in figures released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Friday night.
In a series of posts on its verified Twitter page, the Centre said the country recorded 114 new confirmed cases of coronavirus.
It said 80 of the cases were in Lagos, 21 in Gombe, 5 in FCT, 2 in Zamfara, and 2 in Edo.
Others are 1 each in Ogun, Oyo, Kaduna and Sokoto.
The Centre also noted that 208 persons had been discharged, while 32 deaths had been recorded.
