A Former aide to President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, says one of the two ventilators in Gwagwalada hospital has been moved to Aso Rock. Reno’s claims follows reports of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, testing positive to the Coronavirus.

Ventilators also called ‘respirators’ are machines designed to provide mechanical ventilation by moving breathable air into and out of the lungs. They are used to deliver breaths to patients who are physically unable to breathe, or breathing insufficiently.

Reno said: “My source revealed that one of only 2 ventilators at Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital, has been ordered moved to an unknown location, suspected to be Aso Rock.” Following Reno Omokri’s statement on Twitter, Nigerians are asking why a major health facility like the Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital, would have only two ventilators at a moment the world battles with a pandemic.
