PHOTOS: Okonjo-Iweala joins South Africa Presidential Economic Advisory Council

Former Finance Minister, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been appointed a member of the South Africa Presidential Economic Advisory Council. The Council met in Pretoria on Friday with President Cyril Ramaphosa presiding.

“With President Ramaphosa, members of cabinet, and members of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council in Pretoria discussing sources of growth for the South African economy and win-win economic interactions with the continent,” Okonjo-Iweala tweeted.

In a tweet, South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa said: “The Council advises the President and government in facilitating the development and implementation of economic policies that spur inclusive growth, and serves as a forum for in-depth discussions on emerging global and domestic developments, economic and development policies.”
