BREAKING: Embattled Adamawa REC, Hudu Arrested

The embattled Adamawa Resident Electoral Commissioner(REC), Barrister Hudu Yunusa-Ari, has been arrested by the Police.

Muyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer, confirmed Yunusa-Ari’s arrest on Tuesday.

He said some of the persons who played roles in the controversy surrounding the election were also being probed.

Recall that the suspended REC had in controversial circumstances, declated Aishatu Dahiru Binani as winner of the Governorship Election Adamawa. INEC however, quashed the declaration and said it was null and void.
