No Child Should Lack Access To Quality Education– Osinbajo
The Vice-President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has said no child should lack access to quality education or opportunities for realising their potential.
Osinbajo who gave the 10th-year memorial keynote address of Oba Oladele Olashore in Lagos and was represented by Mr Dapo Akinosun, said there were over 100 children without prior access to quality education, adding that they were now knowledgeable because of the exposure gained, as beneficiaries of scholarships from Olashore.
He said, ‘‘No child, anywhere in the world, should have to go to bed hungry. None should have to be uncertain of their future because they have no access to quality education or opportunities for realizing their potential. And it falls on all of us. Those privileged with positions of leadership or authority in the public or private sectors, and those privileged with access to wealth.’’
Late Oba Olashore was the founder of the Olashore International School, Osun State.
In her remarks, the Chairperson of OISA Foundation, Mrs Olapeju Sofowora, said Olashore used all his resources and influence to get things done at the National, State, local and community levels particularly in his domain, llokoIjesha, where he lived in the last 17 years before he passed on.

In their lives, and the lives of everybody each of those children goes on to impact, he defies death.’’
