Governor is a bridge between the Igbos and South South- Baraje
Former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abubarkar Baraje has stated that the Vice Presidential candidate of the party, Ifeanyi Okowa will be a bridge between the Igbos, Delta and the rest of the South South. The presidential candidate PDP in the 2023 elections, Atiku Abubakar, yesterday announced Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate.
Baraje who spoke during a talk show on Arise TV said Okowa represents a peaceful metamorphoses that will bring the Presidency to the South, and noted that the Youth will buy into the candidacy of Okowa because of what he has done for the youth of Delta state where he is the Governor.

On Okowa’s relationship with Atiku, Baraje said Okowa will complement Atiku Abubakar. “He was a two times commissioner who was very complementary to his Boss, and also a Secretary to the Delta Government who was very cooperative with the then Governor. “His relationship with Atiku dates back to many years ago through Delta former Governor, James Ibori,” Baraje said.
