Amaechi Congratulates Tinubu, Pledges Commitment To Success In 2023

All Progressives Congress(APC), Presidential aspirant in the just concluded Special Convention to elect flag bearer for the 2023 general elections, RT Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has congratulated his rival Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and said his victory was well deserving.

In a letter to Tinubu personally signed by the former Minister, sighted by Aspheric News, he assured Asiwaju of his support and commitment to ensure his success at the polls come 2023.

Tinubu defeated his closest rival Amaechi with 1271 votes while Amaechi garnered 316 votes; Yemi Osinbajo- 235, Senate President. Ahmed Lawal- 152, Governor Yahaya Bello- 47, Governor Dave Umahi- 38, Governor Ben Ayade- 37, Ahmed Rufai Sani- 4, Ogbunaya Onu- 1. Others are Rochas Okorocha, Tunde Bakare, and Ike Abadi, both scored nil.
