CBN Holds 28th Seminar For Finance Correspondents and Business Editors
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has started a seminar today for the Financial Correspondents and Business Editors in Nigeria.
The Seminar which is themed ” Galvanising Development Finance And Monetary Policy For Growth” is meant to refresh and interact with the media representatives across the country on the current policy trends of the CBN,
In his keynote address, the CBN Governor
In his opening remarks the CBN Director of Corporate Communications said the 28th edition tomorrow will focus on making our policies work and looking inwards to improve the economy.
He said that the leadership of Godwin Emefiele wants to make that government policies work.
He noted that what is going on now is border protection and not border closure. this is the first time any government is participating fully in training since it started.
He said that we are gathered again amidst the tight budget because of the value attached to the media because so many people are yet to understand want the CBN is doing.
The CBN Governor has always emphasized on the need to promote non oil products and export.
