Amaechi Inspects Port Harcourt- Maiduguri Rail Reconstruction project

Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi after attending a mass service with other Christian faithfuls to marked the Palm Sunday service in Port Harcourt, Rivers State proceeded to the site of Port Harcourt- Maiduguri rail line where he inspected progress of the project.

Amaechi who is also a former Governor of Rivers shared the video on his verified Twitter handle wrote:

I just inspected the ongoing reconstruction of the Port Harcourt-Maiduguri rail line. The contractors are working in different gangs across the line simultaneously. Our first target is to get track-laying from Port Harcourt to Enugu completed, then proceed with the next phase.

Recall that on Saturday in the oil city of Port Harcourt before a mammoth crowd at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Amaechi declared his interest to contest the APC ticket for the 2023 presidency.
