PDP Sets Date For Osun Governorship Primary election, To Hold On March 7
The peoples democratic party(PDP) is set to run it’s governorship primary election for Osun state on the 7th day of march, ahead of it’s governorship election slated for June 16, 2022.
The date was announced by the national organizing secretary, Umar. M Bature, while releasing the activities lined up for the governorship election, in the state.
He explained that an Osun state screening committee and appeal panel reports had been approved by the party. Hence clearing all six gubernatorial aspirants.
He added, that all cleared aspirants are to note that the Osun state stakeholders meeting will hold in Abuja on Tuesday, the 1st of February 2022, The party’s national organizing secretary announced that a 25 member appeal panel, is scheduled to sit Friday (today) at the party’s national secretariat, in Abuja.
He said members of the appeal panel will be chaired by the PDP national chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu.
The committee according to him have notable members of the party in it, including the national secretary, Sen. Samuel Nnaemeka Amyanwu as secretary amongst other distinguished individuals.
