PDP left with one member in the Imo State House of Assembly

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is left with just one member, in the Imo State House of Assembly. The speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Chiji Collins who disclosed this during a rally in support of Imo state Governor, Hope Uzodinma in Owerri, said the lawmakers who willingly defected, were ready to partner with Uzodinma in developing Imo state.

The Speaker said: “As at last night, we have 26 lawmakers who have declared for APC, and I assure you soon the 27 will all be for APC. Wait till the next plenary when all of them will officially defect.

The only Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmaker left in the Imo State House of Assembly, is the immediate past Deputy Speaker, Hon Okey Onyekanma, whom the speaker is optimistic over his defection to the APC.
