Dayo Olujuwon drops new single, titled My Confession
The Nigerian singer/song writer, OAP and Founder of oak Theatre Productions has released another heart touching and soul lifting single Titled My Confession
Speaking with AsphericNews, she revealed that the song had been completed since 2019, but felt releasing it in 2021 is the best year to release it.
“I was held back from releasing that sound, I’d always had it already produced and delivered to me 2019, but I waited for the Lord’s timing…I learnt that there is a time for a release and a time for a holding…the song is powerful I must say,,, blessing lives already and I hope it reaches the end of the earth, to bless lives and also strengthen them”
Explaning why she wrote the song, she stated “Oh…2019 partook in a Talent hunt, organised by the Redeemed Christian Church of God Tagged “Shift” well, we were advised to have our own song… ofcourse I had written a whole lot of songs, but I thought I should write a song that tells about the power that is supposed to control the sphere of the Competition which is positivity, The Word of God and your heritage as a child of God…that was how the song came up….. Finally I won, I didn’t sing the song though,,,,but when i had the opportunity, thanks to God and Rccg Region 10…I recorded it…and here we are”
Dayo is a graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Abuja, she has started singing and writing songs and also plays since childhood, she had revealed. She has shared the stage with, Gospel Artiste like Samsung, Yinka Okeleye, Tee Worship, Steve Crown, Chris Morgan and also sang in a crowd of Thousands, if not a million.
In the area of On Air personality as a TV host in AsphericTV/News, she has interviewed the likes of Femi Adeshina(SA to the President Buhari on media and Publicity) Festus Kayamo, Monday Onyekachi, Dele Momodu, and other prestigious personality in Nigeria.
She is also the Founder of a Creative/Theatre Company, oak Theatre Productions, she founded it while in the University and so far, had produced two stage/live performances and other Productions and planning on doing another live/Stage performance soon.
