Amaechi Inspects NRC Training Center

The Honorable Minister for Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi in company of the Managing Director, Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Engr. Fidet Okhiria, have visited the NRC Training Center to ascertain the level of completion of the 100 seater lectures theatre, the 40 room accommodation for students and other ongoing projects in the Institution. The Training Center which is also the Technical institute of the Corporation is situated in Ebute Metta.

Recall that the Federal Government had earlier sent Nigerian students for training courses in Railway engineering and Management in China. On their return to Nigeria, the Students are expected to take over the technical duties from the Chinese, who are currently running some of the Railway departments
