The Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic, University of Port Harcourt, Prof Andrew Efemini is feared dead, citynewsph reports.
A source said the outspoken Professor of Philosophy passed on early Saturday morning, days after he was sworn in as Deputy Vice Chancellor of the university.

Our source, who is close to the family, said the deceased has been battling a terminal disease for a while.
Neither the family nor the institution has released a statement on the development.
