Afrobeat Singer, Rema Denies Joining Illuminati
Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Divine Ikubor better known as Rema has denied any affiliation with the Illuminati.
This is coming after the singer stirred controversy on social media when he uploaded a short video for ‘Ravage’ his upcoming extended play (EP) which had users claiming he has joined the secret society.
Rema reacting to the allagation via his Instagram story explained that the insignia represents the history of Benin City, where he was born.
He said,“Day 1 Ravers, help me educate the new Ravers that I have been on this bat sh*t for a long time. You all would have so much clarity if you easily Google where I am from, what the key colors of my heritage are, what flies in the skies of Benin every evening, etc.
“As I evolve, my execution will evolve unapologetically. Please know your artist. It is why I do interviews. And that Illuminati talk is trash. I work too hard to create art for you guys to give the glory to some diabolical shit. Dead it now. Jesus is King.”
