Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has said the goal of his administration is to raise the Enugu State GDP from $4.4 billion to $30 billion.

The governor disclosed this today at Nike Lake Resort, Enugu during the closing ceremony of the three-day Executive Leadership Retreat.

The programme which brought together leadership, development, financial, climate, public sector, and innovation experts was very insightful and reinvigorating. We had the privilege of learning from their wealth of knowledge.

Mr Mbah said “my administration’s goal to raise Enugu State’s GDP from $4.4 billion to $30 billion will be achieved seamlessly if political appointees apply the knowledge garnered at this retreat to disrupt the status quo.

“I informed them that they would be assessed by the performance benchmarks set for all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), to enable us fulfil our campaign promises.
