Abia State Thanksgiving Service For New Administration

For the successful transition from the immediate past administration of Okezie Ikpeazor and Inauguration of Alex Otti as the Governor of Abia State, a Special Thanksgiving Service was held in Umuahia, the state capital.

At the ceremony, Governor said ‘today, we were in Umuahia the Capital City of our dear state, Abia, for our Thanksgiving Service. My dear wife, His Excellency and the leader of our great party Mr. Peter Obi, the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, myself, and ministers of the gospel joyfully joined the good and hardworking people of God’s Own State who trooped out en masse to offer sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving to God for a new era of purposeful governance in Abia State.”

The special event which held at Trade More Event Centre, Okpara Square, Umuahia had the theme ‘The Lord Has Done Great Things For Us.’ This is the time for the people of God to rejoice.”

The service had in attendance the Labour Party Presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Mr. Peter Obi, Clergy men and Abians from all walks of life.
