Rivers 2023: Student Groups Endorse Abe Candidacy
Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Rivers State, Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe has been endorsed by different students groups for Governor in 2023.
The endorsement was made today at Tana event Center, GRA, Port Harcourt, after an interactive session of the students with Senator Magnus Abe.
The students groups which endorsed Abe include National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Rivers State Chapter led by Comrade Jokiel Gideon C; President National Union of Rivers State Students (NURSS) led by Comr. Monmon Beeate Precious in conjunction with all the SUG Presidents of the seven (7) Tertiary Institutions in Rivers State present.
The students stated that having critically assessed all the Governorship candidates in the race for the March 11 election, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe of the SDP towers above everyone else as the most student-friendly candidate.
It’s based on that assessment that the students in Rivers State unanimously endorsed Senator Magnus Abe and vowed to leave no stone unturned in their bid to mobilize students in Rivers State to vote massively for him in the hope that his administration as Governor will improve education and better the lots of the students in the state.
Senator Abe as representative of the Rivers South-East was totally committed to students and education, and had the biggest annual student support programs in all the years he spent in the Senate. Today he has reaped his reward with the pledge of support from Rivers Students.

Comr. ThankGod Cyril, SUG President Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic; Comr. Itekena Biebele, SUG President Ken Saro wiwa Polytechnic: Comrade Ugem Hope, SUG President, Federal College of Education (Technical) Omoku, among others.
Senator Magnus Abe of the SDP has continued to secure endorsements from every strata of Rivers State and is building unstoppable momentum ahead of the governorship election in the state.
