APC National convention: President, Governors Agrees On Consensus- Gov Sule
Ahead of the APC National convention, that will bring about the emergency of the new APC National Chairman
It has been gathered, but not officially announced that, on Wednesday 23rd March 2022, The president of the federal republic of Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari and Governors who are members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) aligned on the candidature of a former Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Abdullahi Adamu as the chairman of the ruling party.
A lot of activities have been taking place in the last couple of weeks leading to the last week of the convention , this was confirmed by the Governor of Nassarawa state Gov Abdullahi Sule, who spoke with the press today, Thursday 24th 2022.
He noted that the consensus arrangement has been driven towards, so that there can be a very peaceful convention
He also stated that in a meeting with the president, some grey areas were resolved and the Governors are now united more than you can ever think.
According to the Gov. The president said, when Consensus has been agreed upon, it’s only fair, that Aspirants should be refunded.

He further stated that the request for the consensus was made by the president to the leadership of the party, and the leadership did not object.
He commented that the President Muhammadu Buhari has the best interest of the party at heart, and every request he makes is not out of personal interest.
