Let’s Give Back To Society, Government Alone Can’t Do It, Nasiru Danu Urges As He Empowers Some Nigerians

• Empowers dozens with mobile studios, laptops
• Amaechi says Danu is generousity knows no bounds

Some Nigerians were yesterday empowered with mobile studio equipment, laptops and Hi-Tech gadgets by the Nasiru Haladu Danu Foundation (NHDF). The event took place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotels, Abuja and attracted friends of Alhaji Danu which includes the honourable Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi; Abubakar Malami SAN, Minister of Justices/Attorney general of the Federation; Festus Keyamu Minister of State Labour; Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai, Nigeria Ambassador to the Republic of Benin; Music Superstar, Innocent Idibia alias Tuface; Business Moguls, Politicians and Creme De La Creme of the society.

Speaking at the programme, Alhaji Nasiru Haladu Danu founder and Chairman of Nairu Haladu Danu Foundation said ” let us try and give back to society, the government can’t do it alone”.

Alhaji Danu further said, “we do music review on the streets and empowered young talented Nigerians with musical equipment. So far, we have empowered about Six thousand Nigerians and now we are doing this. We also do a lot of events. For the past 15 years we have been reaching out to the people through our empowerment programme”.

Alhaji Danu said ” today’s programme, 55 persons are privileged to be empowered with mobile studios, then we gave others laptops.”

Amaechi at the event, says he knows Danu right from when he was Baby

Speaking at the event, the Minister of Transportation, RT. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi said “I have known him(Danu) right from when he was a Baby… he’s here, I said that because Nasiru grew up in Port-Harcourt, so I have known him from Port-Harcourt, till now and if you know Nasiru very well, you’ll know he’s extremely generous. How many of you know that? Don’t let him chairman your meeting, if he chairs your meeting where money is involved, it’s a problem, because So I wonder what spirit pushes him. I’m sure it’s that spirit that has led him to set up this foundation. Last year, I heard he helped six thousand persons in Jigawa.
It’s only a good man that has that kind of spirit. Today, he’s doing a global program, in which the intermediate industry will benefit, he is starting from the North.”

In Nigeria, especially in the social and political terrain, one personality whose influence cannot be overlooked is Alhaji Nasiru Haladu Danu who is the Dan Amana Dutse of the Dutse Emirate in Jigawa State. His circle of friends cuts across the who-is- who in high society including captains of industry, monarchs, politicians, socialites and celebrities.
