Amaechi Bags Traditional Title From Daura Emirate
The Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi will on February 5, 2022 be turbaned by the Emir of Daura with the title of Dan Amanar Daura (Trusted Son of Daura) in recognition of his contributions to the socio-economic development of the country, especially in bringing to life the rail sector that has been moribund for over three decades.
in a press release signed by Eric Ojiekwe, the Ministry’s Director of Press and Publication, the turbaning ceremony will be performed by the Emir of Daura, His Royal Highness, Dr. Umar Farouk Umar at the Emir’s Palace in Daura, Kastina State by 11:00 am.”The highlight of the occasion will be a royal durbar in honour of the Minister.and invited dignitaries”, said Ojiekwe.
