Live streaming has now become the order of the day, when it comes to bringing people together simultaneously.

This accepted technological development has had it’s best in uniting families, friends, corporate bodies, etc.

Like they say, with technology, distance is not an option.

Aside from that, it has also helped to grow the pockets of media practitioners involved in it because it’s on a high demand.Aside from the business aspect, one of the challenges is the network providers in Nigeria, it some times can ruin your work and make you look like you don’t know what you are doing in front of your client.

In our moment of basking in this streaming era, intentionally bumping into a Media Expert, Micheal Ekunniyi based in the city of Abuja wasn’t a bad idea. And our conversation with him was interesting and didactic

According to him Live streaming has been a good development in our society and the business part of it came as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdownand people had no other choice to communicate simultaneously which is Live streaming via social media.

” Though it has always been, but it was restricted to a few bodies, mostly churches, corporate bodies, TV station but now we have a whole lot of people wanting to Live Stream, for birthdays, weddings, burial ceremonies” Micheal stated

With live streaming, we can connect the world together at the same time through social media platforms and other streaming platforms.In recent time, a whole lot of individuals want to live stream their events and it is necessary they get an expert.

OhGetting someone, of course, use to be a difficult task but now, it’s a bit easy because a whole lot of people are into it especially after the lockdown.

“The business part of it never came out until the rise of COVID-19 when the need arose” he added

Though Michael Ekunniyi is a Media Expert, and CEO of Xtreme Media International, A Media Conglomerate based in Nigeria, He stated that he is focusing on Live streaming because it’s on a high demand for now.

It is not a new thing that quite a number of people have acquired this skill through YouTube but as easy as it looks, it’s still a bit technical, and it takes a lot of patience to get some of the advanced technicality without being too confused.

Network stands as a challenge in this part of the continent and it has undisputably affected streaming some times.

Speaking on the challenges faced, he stated;

“When there is no network, it is like you don’t even know what you are doing, and it can make you look foolish in the present of your client””Network is a real big challenge in the business of live streaming”

“I think the best thing is having satellite, because it is more dedicated than just service providers like MTN, Airtel that we have”
