BREAKING: FG approves construction of Eastern Rail line
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the commencement of the construction of the Eastern rail line project. The project which goes from Port Harcourt to Maiduguri, is expected to link the South-East zone to the northern part of the country. Disclosing this on his official twitter page, the Honourable Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi wrote: “Port Harcourt – Maiduguri Railway, approved.”
In a similar development, the President has approved the reappointment of Engineer Fidet Edentalen Okhiria as Managing Director of the Nigeria Railway Coporation (NRC).
