Woman Shot in Face by Police With Rubber Bullet Considers Suit

LaToya Ratlieff talks about her experience on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. after police shot her in the face with a foam projectile at an anti-police brutality protest in Fort Lauderdale. Ratlieff was choking from tear gas and trying to leave the area when she was shot on Sunday.
During a protest in America, following the death of George Floyd, a woman named Latoya Ratlieff
was shot in the face by a police officer with a rubber bullet.
Luckily for Latoya, she only got injured on the upper side of her right eye, but Latoya said she is considering filing a lawsuit against an officer who shot her in the face.
She also said she was contacted by several organizations, but couldn’t respond to them at that time because she was battling with the pain of the wound from the rubber bullet.
