Engaging the Mind To Act Positively

We daily get bombarded by the desire to get this or that done, but along the line we begin to disengage the mind which plays a critical role in finding the right balance in life.

Though we all have different ways we engage our minds, and as a result, we all get different results even if we all carry out the same kind of assignment.

This doesn’t mean we are not functional mentally, but it simply shows how we all view situations and circumstances in different ways and approach them in different ways and manners.

Many of us easily get distracted by our worries and we end up reacting negatively that we most times regret our actions. It is actually not easy to cope with the daily grinds and discomfort life throws at us, but at that we will also not let the little dark moments of our lives overrule the effectiveness of our mind in engaging itself positively.

Every one of us gets worried over minor things and what makes Me worry might be what makes You feel confident and strong and vice versa. So, it is necessary to know that our minds either plays havoc on us or they make us good and friendly people.

Engaging the minds comes in different ways and forms, either positively or negatively, but we must always make sure we engage our minds positively, for example, You find Yourself in a situation that seems terrible and confusing, I know the first response Your mind will give You is to react abruptly, but the right way to engage the mind is to resist reacting negatively or too quickly in any situation no matter how daunting it may be.

You see some people because of anger kill, injure or destroy someone or something and they later tell You that they do not know why they reacted too harshly, while some because of the way they have been able to teach their minds to engage positively in any situation never gets stock up in the negative situation and such approaches apply to every area of their lives.

The mind is very tricky, and can only be controlled by anyone who knows and recognize that the mind is tricky, but to learn how to know that the mind is tricky, comes by first knowing that nothing happens without a reason and to also be aware of the fact that we all have control over what we think, feel and express and if we can do all this we will see that we can direct our life where and how we want it.

So, when next You find Yourself in a situation that requires an unprepared response, take a deep breath and look at the situation from a different perspective, think of the situation as an opportunity for You to exercise control over Your mind if all You have been doing is just jumping into conclusion about anything and everyone around You and tell Your mind that this is how I want to feel about this person or this how I will react towards this or that situation.

And never You always find fault in people because the more You do that, the more You give Your mind the right to take charge of how You think and act.
