COVID-19: Courts to close for 2 weeks

The Chief Justice of NIGERIA, Justice Tanko Muhammad has directed all Heads of Courts to suspend Court sittings for an initial period of 2 weeks starting tomorrow Tuesday 24/03/2020 due to the outbreak of COVID-19.

This was contained in a letter to all Heads of Court, as Federal and States Judiciary.

The letter added exceptions will be given to matters that are urgent, essential or time-bound.
