Iran admits shooting down Ukrainian plane
Iran Government has admitted to have shot down the Ukrainian plain that killed all 176 persons on board. The Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani in a statement posted on twitter said the missiles were fired due to human.
“Armed Forces’ internal investigation has concluded that regrettably missiles fired due to human error caused the horrific crash of the Ukrainian plane & death of 176 innocent people.
“Investigations continue to identify & prosecute this great tragedy & unforgivable mistake,” the Iranian President said.
Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif has further blamed the sad event on Donald Trump. In a statement, Zarif said “Human error at time of crisis caused by US adventurism, led to disaster.”
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft, en route to the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, was carrying 167 passengers and nine crew members from several countries, including 82 Iranians, 57 Canadians and 11 Ukrainians.
