Photo News: VP Shettima Salute Fallen Soldiers on 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day
Vice President Kashim Shettima represented President Bola Tinubu who has been away attending the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week in the UAE laid wreath for the fallen heroes at the Three Arm Zone in Abuja.
Other dignitaries at the ceremony includes the leadership of the Senate and House of Representatives, Chief Justice of Nigeria, Shettima, Service Chiefs, the inspector general of police and other members of the cabinet.
Also present were senior military officers, diplomats, and the widows of deceased officers, who were acknowledged for their enduring strength. The Senate, in a statement, praised the military’s ongoing dedication, recognizing both current and fallen soldiers for their efforts in maintaining Nigeria’s peace and security.
