President Tinubu Approves 2024 FCT Statutory Budget Exceeding ₦1Trn
President Bola Tinubu has given his approval to the Federal Capital Territory’s statutory budget exceeding ₦1.1 trillion for the 2024 fiscal year.
The minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike disclosed this during a media chat in his Abuja office on Tuesday.
An analysis of the breakdown of the N1.1 trillion budget reveals that ₦280 billion is allocated for overhead expenses, ₦726 billion for capital projects, and ₦140 billion for personnel costs, making the total budget amount to ₦1.147 trillion.
The Minister promised judicious use of the budgetary allocation.
