Ezeife’s Death Great Loss For Nigeria – Uzodimma
Governor Uzodimma of Imo State expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Anambra governor, Chukwuemeka Ezeife, stating that Nigeria has suffered a significant loss.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary and Media Adviser, Mr Oguwike Nwachuku, Governor Uzodimma emphasized that the late elder statesman was a constant advocate for good governance and progressive politics.
Ezeife, also known as Okwadike of Igboukwu, served as the first democratically-elected Governor of Anambra from 1992 to 1993. He passed away at the age of 85 on Thursday at the National Hospital, Abuja.

Governor Uzodimma acknowledged Ezeife’s lasting impact as a former governor, Permanent Secretary, and Political Adviser, with indelible legacies in the hearts of the people.
He prayed for the deceased’s peaceful repose and offered condolences to his family, urging them to find strength in this difficult time.
