Police In Lagos Arrests Female Teacher For Defilement Of Toddler With Finger
Police in Lagos has arrested a nursery school teacher at a school along Community Road, Ago Palace Way for allegedly defiling a four-year-old pupil.
The teacher whose name is Favour was arrested after the victim’s mother reported the incident at Ago Divisional Police Station.
According to Vanguard, the victim’s school teacher allegedly inserted her finger and a pencil inside her private parts.
However, trouble started, as gathered, when the victim’s mother noticed while bathing the toddler after she returned from school on July 1, that the victim had bruises on her private parts.
According to the victim’s mother, “I was bathing my daughter after she came back from school when I noticed she could not bend down properly.
“When I asked her what happened she said it was her school teacher that put her hands and a pencil inside her anus and virgina.
“I reported to the Police and human rights in Ago Police Station and the teacher was arrested and detained.
“Since the police arrested the school teacher, the suspect’s family has been coming to the house to threaten me. The owner of the school is not concerned about the incident.”

The victim was taken to a private hospital in Ikeja for medicals. The medical report revealed that the victim has been abused.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin said “the suspect has been arrested.
The case has been transferred from the Ago Palace division to the State Police Command at Ikeja for further investigation.
