Lagos Indefinite, Total Ban On Okada in 6 LGAs
The Lagos State government has announced ban on activities of commercial motorcycles popularly known as Okada in some parts of the state.
The Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, made the announcement on the total and indefinite ban today, Wednesday May 18, 2022.
The six local governments include Ikeja, Surulere, Eti-Osa, Lagos Mainland, Lagos Island, and Apapa.
Speaking with all Divisional Police Officers in the state at the Lagos House, Ikeja, Sanwo-Olu urged the officers to ensure total enforcement of the ban.
