APC holds special congresses ahead of primaries
The ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) has released schedules for special congresses ahead of the primary elections slated for May 30 and 31, 2022.
This was contained in a press release today May 4, 2022 signed by the organising secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu.
The release is as follow:
NOTICE OF CONDUCT OF SPECIAL CONGRESSES
This is to notify our Party Members and the General Public that our Party has scheduled to hold Congresses in all States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The specific dates and business of the Congresses are as follow;
Saturday, May 7th, 2022.
Ward Congresses
To elect LGA & State Delegates
Sunday, May 8th, 2022.
Appeals
Appeals arising from Ward Congress
Sunday, May 8, 2022.
LGA Congresses
To elect National Delegates
Monday, May 9, 2022.

PURCHASE OF NOMINATION FORMS:
Nomination Forms are obtainable at respective State Secretariats of the APC State Chapters and at the National Secretariat, No. 40, Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja.
Cost of forms:
LGA Delegates – N5, 000
State Delegates – N5, 000
National Delegates – N10, 000
Please Note:
Two of the Five (5) Local Government Delegates to be elected at the Ward Congress must, mandatorily, be women.
Two of the Five (5) State Delegates to be elected at the Ward Congress must, mandatorily, be women.
One of the three (3) elected National Delegates to be elected at the Local Government Area must be a woman.
Sale of forms will commence on Tuesday 3 May, 2022.
All Female Aspirants and Persons Living With Disabilities (PLWD) aspirants shall pay 50% of the prescribed fees.
All completed Nomination Forms must be returned not later than two (2) days to the date of the relevant Congress.
All payments for the purchase of Nomination Forms should be made directly into the designated bank account of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as follows:
